WWE Royal Rumble 2018: The Results & Highlights You Need to Know

It may have taken ages to get here, but we’ve finally arrived at the first major WWE PPV of the year.

The most important battle royale in wrestling is the Royal Rumble. Every January, 30 men try to fling each other over the top rope and become the last man standing. The triumphant winner goes on to that year’s WrestleMania and gets a shot at any major championship he chooses. For 2018, that match concept is being applied to the women. History will be made as the men and women compete in their own Royal Rumble bouts on the very same show. Alongside those two major battle royal matches, AJ Styles will defend his WWE Championship against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a Handicap Match. And Brock Lesnar will engage in a monster mash with Braun Strowman and Kane in a WWE Universal Championship match.

To get a full rundown of everything that happened at the 2018 Royal Rumble, you’ve come to the right place.

Bobby Roode (c) vs. Mojo Rawley (Open Challenge for the WWE United States Championship)

WWE

Winner: And STILL the WWE United States Champion, Bobby Roode!

Highlights: Roode made sure to give a “GLORIOUS!” promo to the hot crowd in Philly. After he was done speaking to the crowd, Mojo’s music hit and he ran out to answer Roode’s open challenge. When the match began, Mojo used his power to overwhelm the champ. Roode fired back at Mojo with chops and a clothesline to even the odds. Mojo tried to come racing at the champ one more, but he was met with an Atomic Drop and a Russian Leg Sweep counter. Roode remained in control for a while afterwards until Mojo caused him to fall to the outside. Mojo used an elbow strike and a nasty tackle to cause maximum discomfort for Roode near the security barrier. Mojo took the champ back into the ring for even more punishment as the crowd booed everything he did. Mojo’s chinlock hold on Roode eventually got countered when Roode escaped and landed a Backdrop Suplex.

Roode tried coming off the top rope to begin his comeback, but Mojo caught him in midair. Roode ended up spinning out of his arms and launched right into his comeback maneuvers. Roode pulled out his best moves on Mojo and almost landed his Glorious DDT, but Mojo shook him off and spiked him with a Spinebuster. Mojo chose to taunt the champ, but he paid for this error after getting slammed with a Spinebuster by Roode. Roode looked to land his finisher once again, but Mojo countered him again and threw him right into the corner ring post. Mojo ran full steam ahead at Roode for his finishing forearm strike, but Roode clocked him with boots to the face. This led right into him finishing Mojo with a top rope variation of his Glorious DDT.

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder)

WWE

Winners: The Revival!

Highlights: Anderson and Wilder kicked things off. This didn’t last long as Wilder quickly tagged in Dawson while he had Anderson in his corner, but Anderson quickly escaped their grasp. Anderson and Dawson blasted each other with strikes as they fought to get the upper hand. After some back and forth counters, Anderson tagged in Gallows to aid him in a tag team move on Dawson. Dawson took a breather, tagged in Wilder, and finally took down Gallows. Gallows wasn’t down for long though as he handed out body slams to both members of The Revival. Anderson got back into the fray, but it cost him dearly when The Revival used some dual offense to cut him down. Anderson then ended up on the receiving end of plenty of tandem offense from Dawson and Wilder. The Revival focused their attack on Anderson’s leg while Gallows looked on. Anderson seemed to save himself by kicking Dawson off of him, but Wilder ran in to keep one of the “Good Brothers” down. Anderson countered a Dragon Screw into a pin at one point on Dawson, but it did nothing to help him recover.

Anderson finally managed to take out Dawson and get the hot tag to his bigger partner. Gallows went crazy with nasty kicks and more of his comeback maneuvers on The Revival. A Magic Killer looked to be on the horizon, but The Revival broke it up. Anderson planted a nasty Spinebuster at one point, but it was all for naught. Gallows got taken out on the outside, which led to Anderson getting chop blocked after landing a sick flying kick. Once he got rolled up, The Revival got their win.

Kalisto, Lince Dorado, and Gran Metalik vs. TJP, Gentleman Jack Gallagher, and Drew Gulak (6-Man Tag Team Match)

WWE

Winners: Kalisto, Lince Dorado, and Gran Metalik!

Highlights: Kalisto chose to get things going with Gulak first. Both men engaged in a lock-up session that initially worked out in Kalisto’s favor. Gulak then got the better of the small luchador for a bit before the pendulum swung back in Kalisto’s favor. Gulak escaped a submission by Kalisto and tagged in Jack, which led to Kalisto tagging in Metalik. Both men got engaged in a lock-up exchange of their own that forced Jack to leave the ring for a bit to recover. Jack re-entered the ring, but chose to tag in TJP instead. After a quick dab, TJP ended up facing off with Lince. Lince got the better of TJP and then tagged in Kalisto to help their team keep the advantage. Kalisto took down TJP with some impressive moves and then tagged in Lince to keep the offense of TJP going. Lince laid TJP out and almost finished him with a Standing Moonsault. TJP soon found himself knocked to the outside with his teammates, which led to the luchadors landing a Triple Moonsault onto all of them.

When the bout returned to the ring, TJP finally got control of Lince. Lince tried coming off the top rope to dropkick TJP, but TJP countered him with a quick dropkick. Afterwards, Gulak got tagged in and used some illegal help from Jack to punish Lince. Gulak and his allies did their best to torture Lince all the while. Jack worked over Line’s leg while Gulak helped knock down the opposition from their ring apron position. TJP then came in to land a tag team move with Gulak and continue to ground “The Golden Lynx.” Line tried to make the hot tag after breaking a submission by TJP, but TJP stopped him by draping him over the top rope. Jack them entered the match to shove Kalisto and beat down Lince some more. While Jack was on the top rope, Gulak argued with him about the “No Fly Zone” policy and caused him screw up his follow-up move.

This led to Metalik getting the hot tag and landing some of his best high-flying offense on Gulak. Kalisto ended up getting a blind tag, which then led to Lince landing a Stunner-like maneuver on Gulak and Jack. Metalik took flight through the middle ropes for a big move and Kalisto ended up getting his team the win after finishing TJP with a Salida Del Sol. TJP argued with his team after the such a disappointing loss.

The Usos (Jey and Jimmy Uso) (c) vs. Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin (2-out-of-3-Falls Match for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship)

WWE

Winners: And STILL the WWE SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions, The Usos!

Highlights: After The Usos lambasted their foes with some fiery mic talk, Jey and Shelton locked up. Shelton overpowered him and tagged in Gable, who almost landed a nasty German Suplex on Jey. Jey tagged in Jimmy, who stopped that suplex from happening and almost aided his twin brother by landing a double Superkick. Gable ran out of the ring just in time to dodge it, though. Once Gable got back into the fray, he used his amateur wrestling expertise to punish Jimmy. Jimmy eventually clobbered Chad with strikes, but his moment of control got cut off by some leg work done by both Gable and Benjamin. Benjamin got back into the ring to stay on top of Jimmy’s now hurt leg. Benjamin and Gable chose to focus all their attention on Jimmy and his weakened limb for a good while. Jimmy tried fending off his foes, but they tore into him with more leg work and tag team maneuvers. Shelton found himself laid out after Jimmy cleaned his clock with an Enzuguri.

Jey then got a chance to lay out Benjamin and Gable with some offense of his own after he got the hot tag. Jey took flight on two occasions (back to back!) while Benjamin and Gable found themselves on the outside. Jey remained in control until he caught a knee from Shelton and a rare Tiger Suplex from Gable. Gable and Benjamin looked to land a big tag team move, but Jey dodged Gable’s flying maneuver. Gable landed up catching a dropkick from Jimmy on the mat. With Jey still in his arms, Benjamin Powerbombed him right into Jimmy in the corner. Jey then got dropped with a Paydirt, but still kicked out of the following pin. Gable went airborne to land a Moonsault onto the challengers on the outside soon after. Some back and forth mayhem ensued, which led to Gable getting clocked with a Superkick and a top rope splash. Gable survived it, which led to some mild confusion as both teams tore each other down with more offense. The Usos ended up getting the first pinfall after Superkicking Gable to death.

When the bout restarted, Gabel and Benjamin landed their big tag team maneuver on Jimmy on the outside. In the inside, Jey got clocked with an Overhead Kick from Gable and almost got taken out with a big move from Shelton. But out of nowhere, Jey rolled up Benjamin to grab the second and final pin.

Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan (c) vs. Cesaro and Sheamus (WWE Raw Tag Team Championship)

WWE

Winners: And the NEW WWE Raw Tag Team Champions, Cesaro and Sheamus!

Highlights: Rollins and Cesaro started this bout at a breakneck pace with some slick counters. Rollins took out Cesaro with armdrags and a dropkick, which forced Cesaro to tag Sheamus in. Rollins got ahold of Sheamus for a while and looked to tag in Jason, but Cesaro’s distraction caused Jason to accidentally ignore Rollin’s tag. Sheamus and Cesaro took this opportunity to continue working over Rollins. Rollins got free at one point and almost tagged in Jason, but Cesaro knocked him off the ring apron and launched him into the corner ring post. Rollins then came flying through the middle rope at Cesaro and Sheamus, but then looked towards his now fallen partner in shock. While Jason got tended to by the ringside officials, Rollins got torn to shreds in the ring. Jason slowly got back to his feet while Cesaro and Sheamus had their way with a severely weakened Rollins. Cesaro and Sheamus looked to land a big tag team move, but Rollins countered Cesaro and stopped that from happening.

Rollins made a comeback by prepping himself up while Jason still tried to recover on the outside. Rollins used suplexes to plant Cesaro to the mat, but it wasn’t enough to completely topple him. Sheamus eventually made his way into the ring and put in some work, but he too got put down by Rollins’ offense soon after. Rollins came off the top rope to land a Frog Splash onto both Cesaro and Sheamus and finally tagged in Jason. Jason, who was still dizzy from the attack dished out to him on the outside, decided to tag Rollins back in. Rollins fought valiantly for a bit, but it was all for naught as he ate a Brogue Kick and Cesaro and Sheamus’ finishing tag tam maneuver.

AJ Styles (c) vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn (Handicap Match for the WWE Championship)

WWE

Winner: And STILL the WWE Champion, AJ Styles!

Highlights: Once the big match introduction concluded, Owens looked to start things off. But he got under AJ’s skin by tagging in Sami instead. Sami went ahead and annoyed AJ some more by tagging Owens back in. Owens wanted to lock up with the champ, but AJ went straight to focusing on punches and kicks instead. Owens tagged Sami back in, who almost got pinned after a quick exchange with the WWE Champion. Owens ended up returning to the match to start brawling with AJ gain, but AJ caught him off guard with a Hurricanrana. AJ tried cutting off Owens from tagging his best friend, but Owens ran outside the ring and ran back in and tag Sami in anyway. Sami ended up catching a phenomenal dropkick from AJ, which forced Sami to call Owens back in. Owens finally managed to bring AJ’s back to the mat by using some stiff strikes. Sami then hopped back into the ring to pick apart AJ with chops. AJ responded with a few of his own, but Sami shook them them off and grounded AJ with a back body drop.

Owens made sure to enter the ring and abuse AJ inside and outside the ring. Owens and Sami punished the champ for several moments during their constant tags strategy. AJ found himself getting back into the swing of things at one point, but Owens cut him back down to size with an Electric Chair Drop. Owens kept AJ grounded with a chinlock, but AJ fought out of it. Owens pulled AJ’s head down to the mat and then went for his Cannonball Splash into the corner, but AJ dodged it at the very last moment. This forced Owens to tag in Sami, who looked to land something big off the top rope. AJ took him down with a nice Frankensteiner off the top, which then led into Owens running right into a Pele. AJ began making a triumphant comeback by dodging a Sami Helluva Kick and clocking him with his Backflip Reverse DDT.

AJ got catapulted out of the corner by Owens, but he amazingly flipped out of it to land a Hurricanrana on Sami. AJ then punished Owens by locking him in the Calf Crusher, but Sami ended up saving him at the very last minute. AJ used his striking combination to knock out Sami, but then he almost got beat with a quick roll up by Owens. AJ kicked out and then forced Owens to ram his shoulder into the corner ring post. Sami got back into the bout and landed a Blue Thunder Bomb on the champ after a a Superkick assist by Owens. When AJ got back to his feet, he found himself getting assaulted with chops and slaps by Sami. Both men struggled on the top rope, which led to AJ tripping Sami and forcing him slam his face into the top turnbuckle. AJ knocked Owens off the ring apron and landed his Phenomenal Forearm on Sami. Owens broke up the following pin, however. AJ and Sami then started one upping each other with forearm strikes. After it looked like a blind tag between Sami and Owens transpired, AJ shocked Owens by flipping out of his Pop Up Powerbomb and nabbing the winning pin.

Brock Lesnar (c) (with Paul Heyman) vs. Braun Strowman vs. Kane (Triple Threat Match for the WWE Universal Championship)

WWE

Winner: And still the WWE Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar!

Highlights: Once the champ and his challengers got introduced, Lesnar ran right at Kane and used shoulder strikes to clobber him. Strowman chose to plant both men while they were stuck in the corner and then focus all of his attention on the champ. Strowman landed a stiff knee on Lesnar, which did nothing but piss him off and cause him to land some stiff jabs on Strowman. Kane made a beeline for Kane and grounded him with a Chokeslam. Kane then switched his attention to Strowman for a bit, but their exchange ended once Lesnar came in swinging with a steel chair. Lesnar struck down Kane, but his next chair shot did nothing to weaken Strowman. Strowman rampaged all over his foes on the inside and the outside. He threw Lesnar into the crowd barrier, pulled out a number of tables and set them up in the ring while the crowd roared in approval.

After Chokeslamming Kane in the ring, Strowman got caught off guard by a series of German Suplexes from Lesnar. Strowman shook off the damage done to him and answered Lesnar’s offense by slamming him through a table. When Strowman got back to his feet, Kane shoved him right into a table set up in the ring corner. Strowman quickly recovered from this blow, but he got put back down seconds later by a Kane Chokeslam. As the match continued to break down, Lesnar handed an F5 to Kane in the ring and one to Strowman on the announce table. Lesnar powered up once more and handed another F5 to Kane, this time through another announce table. When Lesnar turned back around, he was shocked to see that Strowman was back on his feet. Strowman planted Lesnar with two Powerslam’s, but was unable to land a third one after Kane used a steel chair to force him outside the ring. Kane looked to land a Tombstone Piledriver, but Lesnar slipped out his grasp, shoved him into Strowman, and then F5’d Kane right into the mat for the 1-2-3. A pissed off Strowman screamed at Lesnar while the champ stared him down with his championship still intact.

2018 Women’s Royal Rumble Match (30-Woman Royal Rumble Match for a Women’s Championship Match at WrestleMania 34)

WWE

Winner: Asuka!

Highlights: Before this history making bout took place, Maria Menounos, special guest commentator Stephanie McMahon, and both Women’s Champions of Raw and SD Live arrived. Entrant #1 was then announced as Sasha Banks, while #2 turned out to be Becky Lynch. Both women fought hard and gave the crowd something to applaud. After beating each other down, Sarah Logan ran out as #3. She made sure to tear into Banks and Lynch as soon as she entered the ring. #4 turned out to be Mandy Rose. Mandy used a flying knee strike on Banks and tried eliminating her soon after. Lita then made her shocking return at #5! The crowd came unglued as she landed a double clothesline on Banks and Lynch. Lita then dished out a Twist of Fate to Banks and Lynch, then planted both of them with her signature Moonsault. As the crowd cheered her on, Lita forced Tamina to eliminate herself by running clear over the top rope. But then Lita unexpectedly got thrown out herself! Dana Brooke then ran out at #8 and became the one to eliminate Kairi Sane. Then Torrie Wilson made her in-ring return at #9! Torrie ended up taking out Dana Brooke soon after her arrival. Sonya handed out her most wicked MMA strikes and literally kicked Torrie out of the Rumble. #11 turned out to Liv Morgan, who focused her attention on Lynch and Banks. Molly Holly made her return as the 12th entrant and she quickly eliminated Logan. Then she came off the top rope with her Molly-Go-Round right onto Banks. #13 ended up being Lana, who got fired up as she targeted Liv and Deville. Then Michelle McCool entered the fray at #14 and eliminated both those women, Molly Holly and Lana.

The 15th entrant turned out to be Ruby Riott, who almost faced elimination as the remaining women in the ring took aim at her. Vickie Guerrero shrieked as loud as she could as she walked down the ramp at #16. She yelled “EXCUSE ME!” several times and caused the rest of the women in the ring stop everything they were doing just to eliminate her. Then Carmella entered the match at #17 with her MITB briefcase in tow. Vickie took Carmella’s suitcase right out of her hands and clocked her with it when they met each other on the ramp. #18 signaled the arrival of Natalya, who dropped her gear over a fallen Carmella. This woke up Carmella, who shoved Natalya off the ring apron when she attempted to enter the ring. Carmella looked good for a while during her offensive flurry, then Kelly Kelly ran in as #19. McCool eventually got thrown out, which then led into the entrance of Naomi as #20. Naomi “glowed” brightly as she took out most of the opposition. Lynch then went on an Exploder Suplex spree for a bit until Riott eliminated her.

Jacqueline then made her entrance as the 21st entrance. Miss Jackie toughed it out and handed out clothesline to the ladies who stepped in her warpath. The massive Nia Jax then came in at #22 and quickly got rid of Jacqueline and Kelly Kelly. Then she Gorilla Press Slammed Riott onto the top ring apron and forced her to fall to the outside. Nia also eliminated Naomi, but she was saved and caught by all the women standing on the outside. Then the NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon entered the Rumble at #23. She took aim at Nia with repeated strikes, but Nia easily threw her across the ring soon after. On the outside, Naomi did her best Kofi Kingston Rumble save impersonation by using a chair. It didn’t pay off though since Nia caught her coming off the top rope and eliminated her. Beth Phoenix shocked the crowd by coming out at #24. She engaged in a powerhouse battle with Nia as the crowd went crazy. Beth picked up her twice and looked to get rid of her, but her efforts failed. Natalya ran back in and helped Beth push Nia through the middle rope, but then Natalya turned on her former running mate by forcing Beth over the top rope.

Asuka arrived as the 25th entrant and cleaned house on everyone in the ring. She then re-ignited her NXT feud with Ember Moon. Ember caught Asuka with her Eclipse finisher, but her injured arm ended up costing her the match. Asuka recovered and slammed her arm into the top rope and eliminated Ember. #26 turned out to be Mickie James. Later on, Nikki Bella made her return at #27. Both women landed their best moves on their hapless victims. Carmella targeted Nikki for a bit and landed a few moves on her, but then Nikki placed her on the ring apron and soon eliminated her. #28 ended up being Nikki’s twin sister Brie. “YES!” chants erupted as Brie struck down the competition. “Twin Magic” became the focal point of the match as it took down Nia and Natalya. Bayley entered the ring at #29 and knocked down the Bella Twins. While in the ring, Bayley began duking it out with Asuka. The final entrant ended up being Trish Stratus!

Trish chopped down the Bella Twins and then planted them both with a Stratusfaction Bulldog. After using a Frankensteiner to take Bayley off the top rope, Trish locked up with her old rival Mickie. Their fight ended with the elimination of Mickie, which got followed up by Nia making her return to continue her reign of terror. It didn’t last long though as every woman in the ring launched Nia out of the ring. While Bayley had her back turned, Banks catapulted her friend over the top rope. Natalya found herself in a battle with Trish that resulted in her locking in the Sharpshooter on the Hall of Famer. Trish eventually escaped, broke the hold, and eliminated Natalya. Then Banks ended up being the one to get rid of legendary Women’s wrestler. Banks turned around to face Asuka and it looked as if an unlikely alliance would form between them. But that didn’t come to pass. Asuka got beaten down by all three women for a while, but she eventually fought back.

Banks found herself eliminated in the middle of the Final Four brawl by Nikki and Brie, then Asuka did her best to beat back the twins. Nikki and Brie fended her off at one point and teamed up with her sister for some more tandem offense. But then Nikki got rid of her own sister. Nikki soon found herself getting the better of Asuka, but then the roles got reversed. As both women fought tooth and nail on the ring apron, Asuka got knocked down with a stiff elbow from Nikki. Asuka landed back first on the ring apron, but she used her quick thinking to trip up Nikki and cause her to tumble to the ground. Asuka wins! During Asuka’s post-match celebration, both Women’s champions entered the ring. Then all of a sudden, UFC’s Ronda Rousey entered the ring and made her presence felt. Alexa Bliss, Charlotte, Asuka, and Ronda Rousey stood in the ring and caused the crowd to erupt. Ronda made her away around the ring to chill with the fans and even shake Stephanie McMahon’s hand. Asuka continued staring down her championship opportunities as Ronda exited the arena.

WWE

Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura!

Highlights: Jerry “The King” Lawler arrived to be the special guest commentator for this year’s Royal Rumble. Aiden English used his singing prowess to welcome Rusev as the #1 entrant. Finn Bálor then entered the match at #2. Once both men stood across from each other, Rusev jumped on top of Finn and tried to eliminate him early. Finn escaped his grasp, but Rusev shoved him off and tore into him with more punishing offense. Finn countered Rusev by catching him off guard with a nice dropkick. Rhyno made his entrance at #3 and immediately got into a big man brawl with Rusev. Rhyno handed out Belly-to-Belly Suplexes to both his foes in the ring. Rhyno soon found himself getting laid out with a Spinning Kick from Rusev. Baron Corbin then ran into the ring at #4 and quickly made his presence felt. After eating a Deep Six, Rhyno got thrown out by Corbin. But then Finn eliminated Corbin! In a fit of rage, Corbin beat down both Finn and Rusev on the outside. As Heath Slater made his way out at #5, Corbin stopped him from going to the ring by clotheslining him. After Corbin got thrown out of the arena, Elias came out to sing to the crowd at #6. During his walk to the ring, he made sure to boot Slater for good measure and continue performing for the crowd.

Andrade “Cien” Almas shocked the crowd (and interrupted Elias’ concert) by entering at #7! After landing a boot of his own on Slater, Almas pulled off all of his signature luchador offense on Elias. Elias eventually put a stop to it by clotheslining Almas. Bray Wyatt then entered the bout at #8. Bray launched Slater into the crowd barrier, then entered the ring to deliver some punishment to Elias. Finn reignited his rivalry with Bray, which led to Bray stopping him with a quick clothesline. Bray remained in control for a while until Big E ran in as entrant #9. Before he hopped into the ring, Big E tried to revive Slater by stuffing him with pancakes. Big E looked good for a while until he got dropped with a side kick from Rusev. Then the “Perfect 10” looked as it he’d be #10, but the camera went backstage and showed that he got assaulted by Owens and Sami. Sami ran out to take his place. After wiping out Slater on the outside, Sami took aim at Finn in the ring.

Sheamus then made his way down the ramp at #11. But he was quickly eliminated after he threw Slater into the ring and got taken over the top rope by the man himself! Slater’s celebrating was short lived as he ate a Sister Abigail from Bray and got thrown over the top rope. Xavier Woods then made his way into the ring at #12. Woods teamed up with Big E to take out everyone around them with their signature dual offense. #13 ended up being Apollo Crews. Crews took aim at Bray with a nice Enzuguri and then focused his attention on the rest of the pack. Shinsuke Nakamura entered the Rumble at #14 and struck down every man that made the mistake of running straight towards him. The crowd sung his theme all the while. Nakamura soon eliminated Sami. #15 turned out to be Cesaro. He used his European Elbow maneuver to clobber several men before he tried getting rid of Finn. Rusev and Cesaro clobbered each other while the crowd cheered on in unison. #16 ended up being Kofi Kingston, but his entrance into the ring was met with an European Elbow from Cesaro. Crews almost got rid of Cesaro, but Cesaro made him pay for his mistake by eliminating him instead.

#17 turned out to be Jinder Mahal. Jinder suplexed Woods and stuck a flying knee into Woods’ face, then continued beating him down all the while. Jinder eventually got rid of Woods, but then he almost got eliminated by Big E. Jinder seemingly eliminated Kofi, but Woods’ saved his man by catching one of his feet before it hit the ground. Big E’s pancakes kept Kofi afloat, then him and Woods catapulted Kofi back into the ring. Kofi then got rid of Jinder, but then Andrade laid Kofi out and eliminated him soon after. “Woken” Matt Hardy entered the bout at #19 and took aim at Bray. They fought for a bit until they were forced to form an alliance and eliminate Rusev. Matt and Bray’s constant brawling led to both men eliminating each other. Then John Cena made his entrance at #20. Everyone inside the ring came to a standstill and aimed their offense at Cena as soon as he entered the ring. Elias then took aim at Cena, but it cost him as Cena threw him right over the top rope.

#21 was a surprise entrant – The Hurricane! Cena looked on in disbelief at this shocking entrant and almost got caught with a chokeslam. But Cena quickly dealt with the superhero entrant by eliminating him. #22 ended up being Aiden English. #23 marked the arrival of ADAM COLE BABAY! Even while being taped up, Adam began beating down Almas. Finn eventually eliminated English during one of his top rope vocal performances. Randy Orton then entered the bout at #24. Orton caught Almas with an RKO in midair and then eliminated him. #25 turned out to be Titus O’Neil. At #26, The Miz arrived. As soon as he got into the ring, The Miz used his signature offense to take out Cena, Rollins and Finn. #27 brought the crowd to its feet with the announcement of Rey Mysterio’s return! Rey took aim at Adam Cole, who he soon eliminated. Then he brought back the 619 and blasted The Miz with it. Roman Reigns then entered the match to a chorus of boos at #28. Reigns and Cena reignited their rivalry, then he targeted The Miz. Reigns then got rid of Titus and tried to do the same to The Miz. Miz’s allies stopped that from happening, but Reigns took them out and got a Black Out assist from Rollins. A Shield Powerbomb then lead to Miz’s elimination onto his Miztourage on the outside. But then Reigns shocked Rollins by eliminating him!

Goldust then arrived at #29. Then the final entrant turned out to be the returning Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler and Cena got into a war of attrition, then Ziggler turned his focus to Orton by Superkicking him. Ziggler used another Superkick to then eliminate Goldust. Nakamura then found himself dropped by Ziggler’s Zig Zag. Ziggler’s follow up Superkick failed and he soon met his end after getting dropped onto the ring apron and then eliminated by Finn. Afterwards, a flood of finishing moves were dished out in quick succession. After eating a Superman Punch, Orton got thrown over the top rope by Reigns. Mysterio met his end after landing a double 619 on Cena and Reigns, but then getting eliminated by Finn. The final four lineup became Nakamura, Cena, Reigns and Finn. All four men squared off, then a big brawl ensued as the crowd went wild. Cena and Reigns got stared each other down, but they got put down by Nakamura and Finn. Then those two men began their battle, which ended with Finn using a front dropkick to lay out Nakamura.

Cena and Reigns soon got back to their feet and knocked down Nakamura and Finn. Then both men blasted each other with their best strikes until Reigns dropped Cena with a Samoan Drop. Reigns went for his Superman Punch, but Cena cut him off with a Back Suplex. While Cena was looking to land his 5 Knuckle Shuffle, Finn stopped him with a Slingblade. Finn used his best moves on the other three men, but he eventually got stopped by Nakamura. Moments later, Finn met his elimination at the hands of Cena. Cena and Reigns worked over Nakamura for a few seconds until Cena took more shots at Reigns. Cena’s flurry of offense eventually got stopped by a Superman Punch, however. Reigns’ Spear failed and was met with an AA counter. Then Nakamura and Cena got into a fight that ended with Nakamura eliminating Cena with his Kinshasa! The crowd erupted in support of Nakamura as he stared down Reigns. Both men blasted each other with a number of huge strikes, but then Reigns got the better of him with a Superman Punch. Nakamura almost got eliminated, but he locked in a submission hold on Reigns while they were both adorning the top rope. Reigns lifted Nakamura up and planted him with a Powerbomb. Reigns then went for his Spear, but Nakamura put a stop to all that with a top rope Kinshasa. Nakamura looked for another one, but Reigns cut him off with a Spear. When both men got back to their feet, Nakamura came bouncing off the rope to land a final Kinshasa on Reigns. Reigns then got flung over the top rope by Nakamura! Nakamura was the last man standing! After the match, Nakamura made his decision loud and clear – he announced his plans to face AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 34!
