Conor McGregor on Whether He’d Do Joe Rogan’s Podcast [LOOK]

Longtime UFC color commentator Joe Rogan has interviewed some of the biggest stars in MMA on his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. However, he’s never had on the most famous MMA fighter of them all, Conor McGregor.

Rogan, whose popular podcast streams on Spotify, has recorded over 1600 shows since launching it in 2009. He’s spoken with several A-list celebrities, including Kevin Hart, Elon Musk and Jamie Foxx. From the fight world, Rogan has chatted with the likes of former UFC middleweight and welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre, UFC’s “Baddest Motherf*****” Jorge Masvidal and current UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.

However, McGregor has never been featured on The Joe Rogan Experience. And to his fans’ excitement, he’d “love to” speak with Rogan on it as he has “a lot of respect” for the UFC color commentator.

On Saturday, “Notorious” fielded fan questions on Twitter. One user asked McGregor if he would ever go on Rogan’s podcast.

“I’d love to!” McGregor answered. “I feel at some stage we should! I’ve a lot of respect for Joe. He shouted me out before anyone else in the UFC also. Before I had signed with the company.”

More From ‘Ask Notorious Anything’

Using the hashtag “AskNotoriousAnything,” fans took the chance to ask McGregor a question. One fan asked Notorious if he has plans to buy a soccer team, specifically Manchester United. McGregor teased interest in the team a few weeks ago, but according to the Irishman, it’s Celtic F.C. that he’s actually had a conversation about.

“A conversation came up regarding Celtic first to be honest,” McGregor wrote. “To acquire shares from Dermot Desmond. I am certainly interested in acquiring a sports team at some stage! Both Celtic and Man United are teams I like for sure. But I am open. I feel I could do big things for a club”

McGregor was also asked an obvious question: “Best whiskey in the world?” Notorious plugged his popular Irish whiskey, Proper No. 12.

“Proper Twelve ALL DAY! There is no smoother 4 year old whiskey on the planet, let alone the market than Proper Twelve,” he wrote. “Wait until you see what is coming! More age! Innovation! We are only warming up the barrels here! Proper is King!”

Notorious also revealed his “favorite food” when he’s not training, sharing a picture of donuts and writing, “I have a sweet tooth. I like cups of tea with cakes and donuts and chocolate. These donuts, still warm, arrived to the house today for the kids. I ate not one! I actually got up close to the box for a good smell an all. Stared it right down! Show the willpower!”
