Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor recently posted a video of himself hitting mitts, and Jake Paul wasn’t impressed.
On March 11, 2022, “Notorious” shared the clip on social media and wrote “Keeping it tasty.” You can watch it below via the embedded tweet:
Paul, who has a professional boxing record of 5-0, has expressed on several occasions his desire to compete against McGregor inside the ring.
So, it’s not a surprise that the brash trash talker took a shot at Notorious’ boxing technique.
“This is embarrassing,” Paul tweeted. “Your chin is wide open with no head movement for the PROBLM CHILD right hand of God.”
“I would KO Conor in boxing or MMA,” Paul continued. “Right hand of God.”

McGregor Recently Shared an Update on His Recovery
It’s been eight months since Notorious broke his leg inside the Octagon at UFC 264 in July 2021. McGregor has been on the mend since then, and he recently shared an optimistic update on his recovery.
Sporting boxing gloves, McGregor wrote on Instagram: “Day 3 back boxing without issue!
Soon this injury will be a distant memory on my Martial Arts journey. No one has a road without bumps – but winning is about a positive attitude and determination and hard work I am back and only getting better.”

Tommy Fury Says Paul Has ‘Nobody Else to Fight’ Besides Himself
In a recent interview with Sky Sports News, Tommy Fury said Paul has no other option for a next opponent besides himself. The two were supposed to box in December 2021, however Fury pulled out of the match weeks before with a rib injury.
“TNT” was replaced by former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, and The Problem Child knocked out Woodley in the sixth round.
It’s clear Fury still wants to box Paul, even though he’s not “waiting around” for the social media sensation.
“I’m not really waiting around for him, he knows I’m ready to fight at all times,” Fury said via the outlet. “I’ve put that out there countless times and I’m not the issue here – if the man wanted the fight, we’d have a rescheduled date by now.
“The ball is in his court and I’m ready to fight whenever. I would like to see it happen at the end of the year, I know Frank [Warren, promoter] is still trying to reach out [to] him and I do think the fight is still there because he’s not daft.
“Who else is he going to fight? He’s got nobody else to fight. This fight is the biggest fight for him to take at the minute and he knows that full well. But I’m looking to get a run-out on Tyson’s undercard and we’ll see that fight up at the back end of the year.”
