Apple’s new invitation seen above has finally confirmed September 10 as the official announcement for the company’s new set of smartphones. AllThingsD had reported last month that this would be the intended date to showcase these two new phones. The event will begin at 10am PT as Tim Cook unveils these gadgets from the comfort of the Cupertino, California headquarters.
A refined version of Apple’s mobile operating system iOS 7 is expected to be a topic of discussion as well since it should be released in conjunction with the two new sets of smartphones. The final version of iOS 7 may be tested on September 5 before the final release to fix any bugs and glitches still left in the system. Despite this unveiling, Apple has yet to confirm the release date for its next set of iPads.
If the rumors and leaks are true, audiences will see two new iPhones launched that day. The iPhone 5S is supposed to the be the luxury phone containing a possible fingerprint scanner and be encased in a gold or graphite shell while the iPhone 5C will be the cheaper alternative coming in a plastic case with more color options. The bubbles floating along the invitation supports previous reports of the numerous colors available for the 5C. The actual release date for both phones may be September 20.
