Charlie Sheen Comes to Lindsay Lohan’s Rescue With $100,000 for Taxes

Charlie Sheen, Lindsay Lohan, back taxes, $100,000 check

So is there some reason Lindsay Lohan can’t pay her own tax bill?

Seems she and Charlie Sheen got to be close buddies while they were on the set of “Scary Movie 5” together back in September, when they spent a lot of time together on and off the set. And while a Charlie and Lindsay pairing sounds like the beginning of a bad joke, there’s no indication things went too far between the two.

But apparently, TMZ is reporting, at one time the subject of taxes came up. Lindsay owes the taxman $233,904 in unpaid taxes for 2009 and 2010, sources say, and Lindsay must have told Charlie how much she owes. He offered to cut her a check then and there to get the IRS to back off, but she refused.

Last week, though, Sheen sent Lohan’s business manager a check for $100,000, or almost half of Lohan’s tax obligation. Lohan immediately applied the money to her outstanding tax bill.

But between her “Liz and Dick” movie, which will air tonight, the “Scary Movie” franchise and other work, Lohan stands to earn more than $2 million by the end of this year alone.

Of course, heaven knows how much of a tax bill she’ll have on that money, too.
