Police in Cobb County, Georgia say a woman was shot to death Monday, April 21 in the parking lot of the Cumberland Mall.

1. A Woman Was Killed

Multiple outlets reported Monday that one person was rushed to a local hospital after being shot. Fox 5 Atlanta reported Tuesday morning that both the suspect and victim have died.
WSB TV reported Tuesday morning that the victim is 55-year-old Violet Lambert.

2. The Suspect Is Dead
WSB reported Tuesday that the suspect, identified as 59-year-old Danny Wray Brown, was found dead in his home of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The Cumberland Mall Twitter account has been quiet since the reported shooting. Ironically, the account's last tweet was about how nice it was outside of Macy's.
