A Colorado convenience store clerk is being hailed as a hero after she grabbed a baby from a mother’s arms before the mom collapsed. Surveillance video showing the clerk’s quick actions has gone viral. You can watch it above or by clicking here.
Rebecca Montano is a clerk at the Alta Convenience Store in Arvada, Colorado. The mom, who suffered a seizure, was OK and returned to the store to thank Montano. The incident occurred Sunday, Fox 31 Denver reports. Montano told the local news station it was “motherly instinct” that led her to grab the child:
Montano said the woman had a “glazed look” on her face and she knew something was wrong. After grabbing the baby, Montano called 911 and another customer gave assistance to the woman.
