Carly Fiorina was announced as Ted Cruz’s vice presidential pick at an Indianapolis rally April 27. During her acceptance speech, she briefly broke into a song she adapted from “You’re Just in Love” by Irving Berlin, describing her affection for Cruz’s two daughters, and her happiness at getting to see them more:

An intrepid Twitter user grabbed the lyrics:

Fiorina quickly moved on to a more typical campaign speech, calling the newly minted Cruz/Fiorina campaign a battle for the soul of America. She restated her famed animosity for Trump (who she was the only candidate who never pledged to support) and Hillary Clinton, calling them both “establishment” and asking for votes to help “take our country back.” She accused Hillary Clinton of getting rich by spending decades “selling influence” and Donald Trump by spending decades “buying influence,” ultimately calling them two sides of the same coin.

However, many Twitter users called attention to the apparently spontaneous song. @FoxReports called to mind another musical moment on the 2016 trail:

Ben Jacobs of The Guardian managed to get in a shot at Beyonce and Fiorina at the same time:

Fiorina and Cruz have worked together throughout the campaign, with a Cruz Super PAC donating to Fiorina early in the campaign cycle and Fiorina joining Cruz on the campaign trail starting in March. Cruz admitted that Fiorina was on his short list for the slot in late April.

UPDATE: One of our commenters pointed out that the melody comes from Irving Berlin’s “You’re Just in Love:”
