Thousands of Donald Trump supporters gathered in states across the country today to participate in #March4Trump rallies, also called #SpiritofAmerica Rallies. These March 4 Trump rallies were meant to give like-minded people a place to meet up and show that they support the presidency. In some states, protesters showed up too. The rallies took place in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Washington D.C., and Wyoming. Meanwhile, in Minnesota, protesters arrived at the rally in St. Paul and things turned violent. According to this Twitter post, agitators showed up with mace and possibly a stun gun. At least five people were arrested.

A group of women joined the Austin, Texas rally.
Virginia March 4 Trump Rally
In Virginia Beach, Virginia, more than 400 people showed up to show their support for Trump. Scott Presler shared photos from the rally on Twitter. He helped organize the rally and spoke at it, too.
Washington D.C. #March4Trump Rally
The rally in Washington, D.C. started at noon at the Washington Monument, with the march proceeding one mile to the White House, and ended at 2 p.m. Eastern. This was the “base” rally for the event, created by the March 4 Trump organizers. Sister rallies by local supporters were held in solidarity around the nation.
