Dustin Wiseman and his wife Melissa went to Medieval Times on their honeymoon in Southern California expecting a riveting show while eating an over-sized chicken leg. Well, they got a riveting show all right. In fact, the show got a little too eye popping. While sitting in the front row watching a sword fight right in front of them, the honeymooners say a piece of shard from one of the swords flew into Dustin’s eye, tearing his cornea, injuring his retina band blinding his left eye.
“The only thing they actually did was go to the beach, then go to Medieval Times and go to the hospital,” Jason Fowler, the couple’s attorney, told OCWeekly.com.
A lawsuit seeks $10 million in damages.
