Twitter exploded Tuesday evening with tributes to Ben Bradlee, the legendary Washington Post editor who died Tuesday at the age of 93.
Bradlee, who oversaw Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein’s reporting on the Watergate Scandal that toppled President Richard Nixon, was remembered as a visionary who transformed the Post from a small local paper to a national journalistic powerhouse that won a whopping 17 Pulitzer Prizes during Bradlee’s tenure.
