Spin Master has just revealed its new range of Hatchimals, Hatchimals WOW.

But what are Hatchimals WOW, exactly? Well, they stick to the Hatchimal tried-and-tested formula of cute toys that hatch out of eggs, albeit with a few major tweaks.

Inside this egg is what’s known as a Llalacorn (that’s Llalacorn not llamacorn, for those keeping score at home), a cutesy llama with a giraffe-like neck that magically grows.

But it’s not just the growing neck that’s the hook here. Each time you hatch the Hatchimals WOW Llalacorn, it wakes up in one of 10 different moods.

What’s more, the act of hatching has been supercharged. It takes somewhere around five minutes to hatch, and kids do it by tilting the egg back and forth and when the Hatchimals WOW’s rainbow eyes start glowing through the shell, your new favorite toy is ready to meet you.

Doesn’t that sound just lovely?

The Hatchimals WOW also features 250 sounds and reactions, and can even shrink and grow to the sound of music.

Given how popular Hatchimals is, I can see the Hatchimals WOW being beloved by kids around the world this coming Christmas. In fact, it’s on our list of the best new toys of 2019 – right towards the top!

Hatchimals Colleggtibles

The Hatchimals toy line isn’t just the Hatchimals Llalacorn. It’s actually really wide and full of brilliant ideas, one of which is the Hatchimals Colleggtibles line.

There are, however, a few different versions within the Hatchiamals Colleggtibles line, and you bet we’re gonna walk you through all of them.

First up is the super affordable Royal Dozen of mini-figures. In these packs you get 12 eggs, all of which can be satisfyingly demolished by hand, and each contains a cutesy critter.

They’re perfect for stocking fillers, and as they’re small models, make for great shelf fillers or toys your child can take out in their pocket to stop them driving you mad.

Next up is the freaking HUGE Mega Secret Surprise Egg. These ones are your main gift purchase, simply because of how epic they are.

Crack open this multi-tier egg and you’ll discover 11 exclusive characters, which breaks down as one pixies royal toy and 10 mini Hatchimal toys. Not only that, you also get a crown for each of them, face mask for the pixie, stickers, lip gloss, and a selection of other accessories. There’s 40 surprised to uncover in total, which, as you can probably guess, is a lot!

And when you’re done with the egg, it turns into an eggcellent display or storage base to keep all your toys in. Nice!

Lastly, for kids who already own a selection of Hatchinmals Colleggtibles toys, check out this Coral Castle Playset. Playsets are always a good idea to help keep your child’s imagination sharp, and this toy is great for showcasing their favorite colleggtibles. It’s super pretty, as well.

Hatchimals Hatchibabies

The other hugely popular Hatchimals line well worth checking out is the Hatchimals Hatchibabies.

It’s the much-loved Hatchimals affair you know and love – smash the over-sized egg to reveal a toy – but with a really cool twist. The Hathcibabies are interactive.

Want to play peek-a-boo or talk to it? It’ll not only play with you, it’ll talk back, too.

This one also comes with a rattle, hairbrush, bottle, and cuddle buddy for when you’re ready to make it burp, feed, give it tickles, or snuggle.

There’s even a special Hatchimals / How to Train My Dragon crossover that’s well worth considering as well. Baby Toothless is just the cutest!
