A 16-year-old pizza boy is behind bars after allegedly raping a woman after delivering a pizza to her neighbor’s apartment.
Cesar Lucas, 16, who lives in the Bronx, prowled around the victim’s Upper West Side building after delivering a pizza to someone else on her floor shortly after 12:30 a.m. Saturday, according to the New York Post. Police said he tried a few door knobs and found the one unlocked and went inside.
The woman said she was raped while her 7-year-old daughter slept next to him.
“I want him put away. I want the world to know he raped me while my 7-year-old was asleep next to me. He violated us, it’s disgusting — roaming around apartments looking to hurt people while you’re working. I’m so angry, He just f–ked up everything. How dare he come into my room? He was looking around my apartment — how scary. ”
Then the teen fled, stealing the woman’s iPhone and $20 from her daughter’s wallet, the woman said, complaining she was “embarrassed” that she left her door unlocked.
Cops found the boy back at work at New York Sal’s Pizza, where he worked part-time on weekend nights. Co-workers said “he’s a good kid,” but the victim said she wants that “pizzeria to pay,” a likely sign of a big lawsuit just waiting to happen.
And apparently Lucas isn’t as good a kid as his co-workers think. Last month police found him with a stolen credit card, belonging to a 39-year-old woman, and her driver’s license, after he was cuffed jumping a turnstile.
So in addition to the burglary, criminal possession of stolen credit cards and theft of service from last month’s arrest, the “good kid” is now facing rape charges as well.
