Last year Hurricane Irene hit the northeast and while it wasn’t the disaster it was hyped up to be, it still did a lot of damage. I personally lost power for a week. All told, Irene caused $15 billion in damage.
So, the question is, will Hurricane Sandy aka Frankenstorm be worse?
All signs point to yes.
According to AP, Frankenstorm is wider and stronger than Irene.

And they aren’t the only ones:

New Jersey has already declared a state of emergency and Sandy has already killed over 40 people.
If you live in the northeast, please try to be prepared to lose power and stay safe. Hurricane Sandy is going to be worse than Irene.
