In the above segment CNN interviews a man living in Gaza and a man living in Israel, both in the conflict zone. Near the end of the interview, the Palestinian man’s feed is interrupted by bombs going off near his home. The blasts get louder and his home begins to shake as he almost falls out of his chair.
It’s startling and a reminder of often how removed so many of us are from conflicts that break out all over the world and how unaware we are of how much these conflicts affect real people in their everyday lives.
