Three people have been killed after an horrific highway bus crash in Indianapolis. The bus was carrying a group of teenagers from Baptist summer camp. Two others had to be brought from the scene in medical helicopters, reports CNN.
Here’s what you need to know…
1. Three Fatalities Have Been Confirmed
The crash happened at around 4:15 p.m. local time when the bus flipped over. Three fatalities were confirmed at the scene.

Two helicopters quickly arrived at the scene to transfer two critical victims to local hospitals. Around eight others were also brought to hospital.
3. The Bus Was Packed With Kids Returning From Camp

Most of those on board were returning from Colonial Hill Baptist Church, reports CBS Indianapolis.
4. The Bus Rolled Across an Interstate
The bus is reported to have been coming off the interstate and making a turn on to Keystone Avenue when the driver appeared to lose control and the bus flipped.
5. Authorities Are Now Attempting to Identify the Victims
One of the victims is reported to be a teenager. The other two fatalities are reported by The Indy Star to be a husband and wife.
