A new body cam video from Daytona Police shows the moment that cops shot former NFL star Jermaine Green six times during a domestic dispute, reports The Daytona Beach News-Journal.
The video shows cops arriving on the scene where former New York Giant Jermaine Green, 32, was holding a knife, to his girlfriend, Katherine Jenkins. Cops yell at him to drop his weapon and to release her, when he raises his arm, the cops unload on Green, hitting him six times. The video also shows Green’s 10-year-old son in the room at the time of the shooting.
The former NFL player was lucky to escape the shooting with non-life threatening injuries, he remains in police custody over the altercation. The two responding officers are still under investigation.
