Westboro Baptist Church Calls Philip Seymour Hoffman a ‘Fat Demon’

With the Westboro Baptist Church already in New York for Super Bowl Sunday to protest against people having fun, the church clearly brought their iPhones as they’ve been tweeting their trademark nonsense about the death of the great Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Hoffman was found dead in Greenwich Village apartment on the morning of February 3 at the age of 46.

The tweets have ranged from the absurd to the downright awful. If you can stomach them, here they are:

The “church,” which has made its name in protesting the funerals of victims of tragedies — somehow relating the deaths to acceptance of homosexuality in society — has proven time and again that no tragedy is safe from the group’s vile opinions.
