Caitlyn Virts, 11, is believed to have been abducted by her father, Tim Virts, in Dundalk, Maryland, at around 7 a.m. on March 6, reports My Fox DC.

1. Caitlyn’s Mother Was Found Dead at Her Home
Caitlyn’s mother, Bobbie Cortez, was found dead at her home on the 3100 block of Ardee Way, Dundalk, Maryland. Cops were first called to the home at 9:13 a.m. where they found Bobbie Cortez murdered, reports CBS Baltimore.
There are two other children who live in the home, including Caitlyn’s twin and another boy. The horrific scene was discovered by Peter Virts, Timothy’s father. The elder Virts told ABC Baltimore’s Christian Schaffer, “Timothy, you don’t get along with me, I understand that. I don’t care what you did. I care about your daughter.” According to reports, Timothy was staying at the home at the time of Bobbie Cortez’s death.

2. Caitlyn’s Stepfather Was Indicted in a Child Sex Case Yesterday
On March 5, Daniel Cortez, who shares Caitlyn’s address in Ardee Way, Dundalk, was indicted on child sex charges. He is charged with abusing someone who lived at the home on Ardee Way. Cortez is a registered sex offender who is charged with eleven counts of sex abuse, reports ABC Baltimore’s Joce Sterman.

3. Timothy Virts Has a History of Being Involved in Custody Disputes
According to The Baltimore Sun, Timothy Virts was involved in custody disputes in 2004 and 2010. Then in 2012, he was ordered to stay from someone whose name was redacted in court documents.
4. People Should Be On the Lookout For a Black Dodge Durango
Cops think that Caitlyn and her father may be travelling in a black 1999 Dodge Durango, that belongs to Daniel Cortez, with Maryland plates reading 5AJ4458. If you see the car, please call 911 immediately or you can call the Baltimore County Police on (410) 887-7320.
Virts is around 5 feet tall and weighs 80 pounds. She wears glasses. Her father, Timothy, is 6 feet 3 and weighs 280 pounds.
Baltimore County Police have explicitly stated, she is “not supposed to be with her father,” reports NBC Washington.

Cops are advising the public not to take any action that may endanger the life of Caitlyn Virts any further.
