Big Papi David Ortiz took the time out during his White House visit to pose for a selfie with U.S. President Barack Obama. The big hitter told his Twitter followers, “What an honor! Thanks for the #selfie.”
The Red Sox were being honored at the White House following their emphatic World Series victory back in October. Obama paid tribute to Boston strong during his speech and signed off telling the team, “May the best Sox win.” A reminder of the president’s loyalty to the Chicago White Sox.
