The season finale of the USA Network show Mr. Robot will not air as planned Wednesday night because of a scene similar to the tragic shootings in Virginia.
A Roanoke, Virginia, news reporter and photographer were fatally shot by a disgruntled former co-worker during a live broadcast. USA Network did not say exactly what occurs in the scene that has led to the postponement of the show.
The previously filmed season finale of Mr. Robot contains a graphic scene similar in nature to today’s tragic events in Virginia.
Out of respect to the victims, their families and colleagues, and our viewers, we are postponing tonight’s episode.
Our thoughts go out to all those affected during this difficult time.
The show will air next Wednesday, September 2, at 10 p.m. Eastern.
