Georgia is one of many Super Tuesday states that will be hosting its primaries for both the Democratic and Republican parties on March 1. Georgia has one of the largest amount of delegates at stake for both parties.
Here’s what you need to know about each party’s Georgia primary:

DATE: Tuesday, March 1, 2016
POLLING HOURS: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET
CANDIDATES IN THE RACE: Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders
TYPE OF PRIMARY: Georgia is an open primary where voters can choose whether to participate in the Democratic or Republican primary regardless of party affiliation. Georgia residents were required to register by February 1 to participate.
DELEGATES AT STAKE: 117 delegates
KEY ENDORSEMENTS: Clinton has an endorsement from Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed. Georgia Sen. Vincent Fort endorsed Sanders.
LATEST POLLS: According to RealClear Politics, Clinton has a massive lead in the early polling. She has an average lead of 34.8 percentage points on Sanders.

NEXT UP AFTER GEORGIA: The Louisiana primary is on March 5. Kansas and Nebraska will host their caucuses on the same day (March 5).

KEY ENDORSEMENTS: Rubio has received endorsements from Rep. Lynn Westmoreland and Alec Poitevint. Trump received an endorsement from Public Service Commission Chairman Lauren “Bubba” McDonald, Jr. Cruz received an endorsement from Former Savannah Rep. Jack Kingston.
LATEST POLLS: According to RealClear Politics, Trump has an average lead of 14.4 percentage points in Georgia’s early polling. Rubio and Cruz appear to be in a tight race for second place.
