North Carolina was hit hard by severe storms today, including damaging tornadoes. At least 123,000 people were left without power in North Carolina on Wednesday. Some of the hardest hit areas included Stovall and Granville County. Many people were caught by surprise since tornadoes in February are fairly rare. The video above shows a huge tornado in Stovall, where Ben Dominguez reported having just 30 seconds to observe before he had to move to a safer area.
