Hillary Clinton ended Bernie Sanders winning streak with a big victory in New York. The New York defeat puts the pressure on Sanders to win next week’s Pennsylvania primary.

Clinton’s win in New York not only stopped Sanders momentum, but makes his path to the nomination even harder. Clinton received more good news as two recent polls show her lead in Pennsylvania growing.

Pennsylvania has become a must-win state for Sanders as it represents the largest delegate prize in next week’s primaries. There are 189 delegates at stake in Pennsylvania. The challenge for the Sanders campaign is the delegates are divided proportionally based on the results. This makes it difficult for Sanders to gain considerable ground on Clinton.
