When & Where Is Bernie Sanders’ Next Rally in California?

With the California primary scheduled for June 7, Bernie Sanders is focusing much of his attention on hosting rallies in California. His rallies so far have been a huge success, frequently attended by tens of thousands of people. If you’re interested in attending one or more of his upcoming rallies, here are the ones he has scheduled over the next few days. We will update this post as he adds more California rallies to his schedule.

Here are all his upcoming rallies. The times listed are local California time, and they are the times that doors to the event venues will open. Venues are filled on a first come, first-served basis, even if you RSVP online. An RSVP helps his campaign estimate the number of people to expect.

Thursday, May 26 – Ventura, CA – 10 a.m.

Thursday, May 26 – Pomona, CA – 4:30 p.m.

The rally took place at Ganesha High School’s football stadium. You can learn more here. The doors opened at 4:30 p.m., but Daily Bulletin estimated that he would begin speaking at 7:30 p.m. You can see photos from the rally here.

Friday, May 27 – San Pedro, CA – 8 a.m.

This rally, the Los Angeles Harbor Unions Rally for Bernie Sanders, will take place at the Los Angeles Maritime Museum on 84 E 6th Street. The public entrance is at Harbor Blvd. and 5th, 23 ABC reported. Free parking is available at Ports O’Call Village, or you can pay $2 for parking at the Iowa Battleship parking lot. Saturday, May 28 – Santa Barbara, CA – 7 a.m.

This rally will take place at Santa Barbara City College, West Campus, The Great Meadow on 721 Cliff Dr. If you take public transit, use the MTD Santa Barbara lines 17, 16, 5, 4, and 15x (the express line connecting UCSB and SBCC.) You can RSVP and learn more details here.

Saturday, May 28 – Santa Maria, CA – 10:30 a.m.

The rally will be held at Santa Maria High School’s Wilson Stadium. You can take public transportation by bus lines 5 & 6 and stop at Broadway at Morrison (the Santa Maria High School stop.) Carpooling’s encouraged because on-site parking is limited. You can RSVP and learn more details here.

Saturday, May 28 – Bakersfield, CA – 4 p.m.

This rally will be held at the Kern County Fairgrounds at 101 Ming Avenue. Attendees are asked to enter through Gate 38 or Gate 39. Only limited parking is available in the Union Avenue Lot and the P Street Lot. If you take public transportation, use the GET bus stop at the corner of Union Avenue and Casa Loma Drive. Sunday, May 29 – Visalia, CA – 2 p.m.

Sanders will hold a rally in Visalia, with doors opening at 2 p.m. local time. The rally will be at the Groppetti Community Stadium at 2101 N. McAuliff St. If you take public transit, you can take the 5T bus to Golden West High School. RSVP and learn more here.

Sunday, May 29 – Fresno, CA – 5 p.m.

The Fresno rally is going to be at Fresno Fairgrounds at the Paul Paul Amphitheater. It’s been moved from the original location and we’ve changed this post accordingly. ABC 30 reported the change. The doors to the rally will still open at 5 p.m. local time. You can RSVP here and find more information, including Google Maps links. Limited parking is available for $5 off Chance St, but attendees are highly encouraged to carpool or use public transportation. You can take the public transit via the Audubon Road stop of Woodward Park #30 Bus Line, according to Sanders’ website.

Monday, May 30 – Oakland, CA – 4 p.m.

The Oakland rally will take place at Frank H. Ogawa Plaza and the doors will open at 4 p.m. There is limited downtown parking, so carpooling and public transit are encouraged. If you take public transit, you can use BART 12th street Oakland City Center, according to Sanders’ campaign. For more details and to RSVP, see the link here.

On his Facebook page, Robert Reich shared that he would be introducing Bernie at his upcoming rally in Oakland, California.

Tuesday, Mary 31 – Santa Cruz, CA – 10 a.m. 

Bernie’s hosting a rally in Santa Cruz at 10 a.m. on the 31st. The doors will open at 10 a.m., but Bernie will be speaking later than that. The rally will take place at the Kaiser Permanente Arena. For details and to RSVP, see here.

Tuesday, May 31 – Monterey, CA – 4:30 p.m. 

Bernie will host a rally in Monterey, California with doors opening at 4:30 p.m., and the rally starting around 7 p.m. local time on Tuesday, May 31. Wednesday, June 1 – Palo Alto, CA – 11:30 a.m.

Bernie is hosting a rally in Palo Alto with doors opening at 11:30 a.m. on June 1. The rally will take place at the Cubberley Community Center Fields at 4000 Middlefield Road. Entrance will be through the South West parking lot. Attendees are encouraged to bring plenty of hydration and sun screen. Plastic bottles will be allowed through security. On-site parking is limited, so carpooling and public transit are encouraged. According to Sanders’ website, take the CalTrain to the San Antonio station stop, or you can use the Middlefield & Montrose stop on 35 Bus; the San Antonio & Middlefield stop on 32 Bus; or the Charleston & Middlefield stop on 88 and 104 buses. Wednesday, June 1 – Davis, CA – 5 p.m. 

Bernie’s hosting a rally in Davis, California with doors opening at 5 p.m. The rally will be held at Hutchison Intramural Field. Public entrance is at the northwest corner. For more information, see this link.

Thursday, June 2 – Modesto, CA –  9 a.m. 

Doors will open to Bernie’s Modesto CA rally at 9 a.m. The rally will be at Modesto Centre Plaza. The entrance will be at the corner of 10th and K St. For more details, see here.

Thursday, June 2 – Chico, CA – 5:30 p.m.

A rally for Bernie will take place in Chico CA at 5:30 p.m. The rally will take place at Chico’s Laxson Auditorium at CSU Chico. For more details, see here.

Friday, June 3 – Fairfield, CA – 11:30 a.m.
