Presidential Polls 2016: Trump Looks to Catch Clinton

According to The Indianapolis Star, Donald Trump is expected to name Mike Pence his running mate. If Trump does choose Pence, it is a choice more aligned with the social conservatives of the GOP.

In the two most recent matchup polls pairing just Trump and Clinton, he is either tied or leading in the poll. He has a seven point lead in a poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports. It will be interesting to watch how Trump’s choice of a running mate will impact the polling numbers.

According to Real Clear Politics, Trump trails Clinton by an average of 3.4 percentage points in polls where Gary Johnson is an option. Heavy has put together a combination of the latest polls pairing Clinton-Trump as well as Clinton-Trump-Johnson.
