The Urban Dictionary defines a “Rickroll” as “To post a misleading link with a subject that promises to be exciting or interesting…but actually turns out to be the video for Rick Astley’s debut single, ‘Never Gonna Give You Up.'” There was no video in Melania’s speech, though. “We Are the Champions” played as Trump joined his wife on stage.
Of course, the bigger news: The allegations that Melania Trump had lifted pieces of a 2008 Michelle Obama speech when she gave her keynote address July 18 at the Republican National Convention. Read more about those allegations here:
