Students at Hofstra University on Long Island are preparing for the first presidential debate of the 2016 election. The school, which is located in Hempstead, New York, has previously hosted debates during 2008 and 2012, making it the only university to do so in three consecutive elections. In the hours leading up to the debate, campus was swarming with students, press, and hundreds of signs in support of Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump.
