LIVE STREAM: Donald Trump Rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will hold a rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa this evening, his last of three events on Friday.

Trump will speak from the McGrath Amphitheatre, and the rally is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time. However, Trump will most likely start closer to 8:00 or 8:30 p.m., as the candidate’s schedule has been delayed today and his previously rally began about two hours late.

This rally comes at the conclusion of what has been perhaps the Trump campaign’s best day since the Republican National Convention. On Friday afternoon, it was announced that the FBI will be looking into newly discovered emails in the Hillary Clinton case, specifically emails that were found in an unrelated investigation into Anthony Weiner allegedly sexting an underage girl.

Not only does this news help Trump with his narrative that Hillary Clinton is corrupt and that she compromised the security of the United States while serving as Secretary of State, but Trump can also point to the fact that he said over a year ago that Weiner could potentially have access to classified material through Clinton confidant Huma Abedin.

Trump said at a rally in August 2015, “So Huma is getting classified secrets. She’s married to Anthony Weiner, who’s a perv. No, he is…Do you think there’s even a 5% chance that she’s not telling Anthony Weiner – now of a public relations firm – what the hell is coming across? Do you think there’s even a little bit of a chance? I don’t think so.”

About 20 minutes after the news of this new FBI probe broke, Trump took the stage at a rally in New Hampshire and praised the FBI’s decision, saying that the system might not be as rigged as he thought.

“I have great respect for the fact that the FBI and the Department of Justice are now willing to have the courage to right the horrible mistake that they made,” Trump said. “This was a grave miscarriage of justice that the American people fully understood, and it is everybody’s hope that it is about to be corrected.”
