The deadline for registering to vote in Michigan is almost here.
In the state, you only have two ways to register to vote: by mail or in person. There is not a way to register online. Whether you register by mail or in person, the deadline to register is Tuesday, October 11th.
Note: Michigan does not have same-day voter registration, meaning if you do not register to vote by October 11th, you will not be able to vote on November 8th.

Since there is no online registration in Michigan, your other option is to print out an official voter registration form, fill out it, and send it to your county clerk’s office. The deadline to register to vote by mail is Tuesday, October 11th.

How to Register to Vote in Person

Your other option is to register in person. Simply visit your county clerk’s office, which you can find on the list in the previous section. They will have copies of the voter registration form, which you can fill out and drop off on the same day.
