John Kelly Confirmation Hearing: What Time Is It On Today?

Today is the John Kelly’s confirmation hearing with the Senate Judiciary Committee. President-Elect Donald Trump nominated Kelly for Secretary of Homeland Security. He’s a long-serving four-star general who served three tours in Iraq and retired in 2016. His son, Marine 1st Lt. Robert Kelly, died at the age of 29 in Afghanistan, after he stepped on a mine.

CONFIRMATION HEARING TIME: The confirmation hearing is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. Eastern on Tuesday and possibly last until 7:30 p.m.

Unfortunately, you may not be able to watch this hearing on TV, unless news stations cut in and show live clips from the hearing. CSPAN is typically the best bet for catching these confirmation hearings on TV, but the station has announced that it will only be showing the hearing live on C-SPAN.org. C-SPAN3 will be airing Sessions’ confirmation hearing today.
