Trump Talks About the White House Correspondents Dinner
When Trump took the stage, the crowd cheered and chanted, "USA! USA! USA!" Trump told the crowd how great it was to be back to the beautiful state of Pennsylvania. "It carried us to a big, beautiful victory on November 8," he said to cheers. "As you may know, there's another big gathering taking place tonight in Washington, D.C.," he mentioned, to a loud chorus of boos. "A large group of Hollywood actors and Washington media are consoling each other in a hotel ballroom in our nation's capital right now." The crowd switched from boos to cheers. "They're gathered together for the White House Correspondents Dinner — without the President." The crowd laughed and cheered. "I could not possibly be more thrilled than to be more than 100 miles away from Washington's swamp," Trump told the crowd, "spending my evening with all of you and with a much, much larger crowd and much better people."
