Trump Rated the Media's First 100 Days
Trump then mentioned the media at the back of the rally. "Media outlets like CNN and MSNBC are fake news," he said, to a chorus of boos. "And they're sitting and they're wishing in Washington, they're watching right now and they would love to be with us right here tonight, but they're trapped at the dinner, which will be very, very boring. But next year, maybe, we'll make it more exciting for them in Washington... But we have a good chance of showing up here again next year too."
First, Trump rated the media's first 100 days. "As you know, they are a disgrace," he said. He talked about a poll which showed more than half of Americans feeling like the media is out of touch with everyday Americans. Media Research Center, he added, said that 89 percent of the media's coverage of Trump's administration was purposefully negative. "Perhaps, that's because according to the Center of Public Integrity, 96 percent of journalists who made donations in the last election gave them to our opponent." (Getty)
