Ben Shapiro was the guest on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast today(video above). Shapiro is an American conservative political commentator, columnist, author, radio talk show host, media executive, activist and attorney. He is also editor-in-chief at The Daily Wire. Shapiro was also editor-at-large of Breitbart.com from 2012 until he resigned in March of 2016. Shapiro has been a heavily-requested guest by fans of “The Joe Rogan Experience” and today’s visit marks Shapiro’s first time on the show.
Shapiro recently debated progressive Cenk Uygur of “The Young Turks” at this year’s Politicon.

Rogan’s episode with Shapiro marks the 993rd episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast, which first started in December of 2009. Recent guests on “The Joe Rogan Experience” include Eddie Bravo, Jamie Foxx, Nick Swardson, Dorian Yates and Maynard James Keenan.
Rogan is a stand-up comedian, UFC commentator, television host, actor, podcast host and retired martial artist. He has studied karate, kickboxing and taekowndo. He became a black belt and is a four-time state champion and U.S Open champion in taekowndo. He started working for the UFC as an interviewer and has been a color commentator for many of its pay-per-view events and highlight programs since 2002.
Rogan’s first big break came when he was cast as a series regular in the NBC sitcom, NewsRadio. Rogan was also host of the hit-show Fear Factor and Comedy Central’s The Man Show.
“The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast’s Youtube channel, PowerfulJRE has over 1.5 million subscribers. The podcast was voted “Best Comedy Podcast” by ITunes users in 2012 and received a Stitcher Award in 2014. The podcast averages over 16 million downloads per month, according to Gazette Review.
Rogan has said that he will do something special for the 1,000th episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast, but so far there has been no confirmation on who the guest or guests might be.
