Candace Owens Calls Democrats ‘True Evil’ After RBG’s Death

Conservative author and political activist Cadance Owens said Democrats are “true evil” after the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Ginsburg, appointed to the Court in 1993 by former President Bill Clinton, died due to complications of metastatic pancreas cancer at 87 years old, the court announced.

“Ruth Badger Ginsburg has passed away,” Owens tweeted. “Pray for the Ginsburg family, but also pray for America. If you thought you saw the face of true evil with the Democrats’ treatment of Brett Kavanaugh—you ain’t see nothing yet.”

Within moments the tweet garnered more than 30,000 likes. The top response, however, criticized Owens. “Spoken like a true grifter. Not even in these moments can you show a bit of empathy,” the netizen wrote.

RBG Fought Five Bouts of Cancer

Ginsburg was first diagnosed with cancer in 1991. She’s since been treated for cancer in her colon, lung, pancreas and finally for a cancerous lesion on her liver.

The progressive Justice, who later became known as the “Notorious R.B.G.,” was one of the most senior members of the court and led the left wing. She fought for social issues like voting rights, immigration, abortion rights, same-sex marriage, health care and affirmative action, as noted by CNN. President Donald Trump will appoint her replacement. It will be his third appointment, following Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.

“Our Nation has lost a jurist of historic stature,” Chief Justice John Roberts said in a statement. “We at the Supreme Court have lost a cherished colleague. Today we mourn, but with confidence, that future generations will remember Ruth Bader Ginsburg as we knew her — a tireless and resolute champion of justice.”

RBG vowed to continue with her work and said she didn’t like to keep idle while battling cancer.  “I found each time that when I’m active, I’m much better than if I’m just lying about and feeling sorry for myself,” she said in 2019, according to CNN. Ginsburg added that she planned to sit on the Court until she was 90 years old.

When lesions resurfaced in 2020, RGB again wanted to remain active. “I have often said I would remain a member of the Court as long as I can do the job full steam,” she said. ” I remain fully able to do that.”

Some Democrats Called For The Impeachment of Kavanaugh

Owens might have been referring to some Democrats who wanted Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh to be impeached over sexual misconduct allegations. They were accused of hypocrisy by some after Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden was also accused of similar allegations, but the party did not withdraw their support for the former Vice President.

Democrats who chanted “believe all women” when Christina Blasey Ford accused Kavanagh defended Biden when he was called out by Tara Reade, as noted by The Hill.

“It was stunning to see Democrats say they believed Joe Biden even before he’d spoken a word about this,” Mike Davis, who led the Senate effort have Kavanaugh confirmed, told The Hill. “And the media instantly and breathlessly reported on all of the allegations against Justice Kavanaugh, which resulted in three criminal referrals against accusers for conspiracy to lie to Congress.”
