Ron Paul Tweets Photo From Hospital & Say’s He’s Doing Fine

Twitter Ron Paul shared this photo on his Twitter.

Ron Paul’s Twitter account shared a health update from the former Congressman after he had a medical scare on live video earlier in the day. The photo showed Paul giving a thumb’s up and said he is doing fine.

Here’s what you need to know:

His Tweet Said He Was Doing Fine

Paul’s tweet reads: “Message from Ron Paul: ‘I am doing fine. Thank you for your concern.'”

It’s good news for supporters who were worried about his health and expressing prayers and well wishes for Paul and his family.

Chad Pergram of Fox News had reported earlier that Paul was hospitalized for precautionary reasons.

Paul appeared to suffer a medical emergency on a live video earlier in the day on September 25, leading some to wonder if he’d had a stroke. His face began to droop and he started slurring his words in the middle of a Liberty Report livestream, after he had been talking perfectly normally just seconds before.

With a stroke, the outcome is most hopeful if medical attention can be provided immediately, according to Mayo Clinic. However, it’s not known what caused Paul’s symptoms during the video. There has not yet been an official statement about what happened to Paul.

Ron Paul’s son Senator Rand Paul tweeted: “Thank God, Dad is doing well. Thank you all for your prayers today.”

Kelley Paul tweeted: “Thank you to everyone who has been praying and sending support for our beloved Grandaddy Ron! He is doing better and we are so grateful.”

People on Twitter Are Expressing Joy That Paul Is Doing Well

Twitter is now flooded with people happy about the good news.

One person wrote: “Thank goodness! Please take your time to recover and don’t rush back to work. We still have your books and previous episodes to catch up on. We all appreciate you so much!”

Another person wrote: “We love you Dr. Paul!”

Tom Woods of the Tom Woods Show tweeted: “Didn’t want to say anything before the family had a chance to, but glad to see this smiling, thumbs-up picture of Ron Paul!”

Cliff Maloney tweeted: “GREAT NEWS!!!! Feel better, Dr. Paul.”

Arthur Bloom tweeted: “Ron Paul is a man of peace, hope he recovers from whatever it appears he experienced.”

Curt Mills of The American Conservative tweeted: “we should all be so lucky to power through a stroke on live television doing a daily show at 85 years old, fighting for what we believe in. Ron Paul rules.”

Paul had a big following when he ran for president in the Republican primary in 2012. His supporters were known as the Ron Paul “insurgency,” Quartz reported, and they wanted his Libertarian ideals to get noticed by the party. Even though Paul didn’t run in 2016, he still got one electoral vote from Bill Greene of CD 34. In May 2018, Greene was ousted as a Republican delegate for his vote and accused of being antifa, he shared with Heavy. Greene died in 2019.
