Limmer has fully recovered from a thumb injury. Limmer suited up during the Rams' preseason matchup versus the Cowboys on Sunday after having previously dealt with a thumb injury. Now healthy, the 23-year-old will continue to compete for a roster spot as a backup offensive lineman.
Limmer left Friday's practice early due to a thumb injury, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports. There is no word on the severity of Limmer's thumb injury at thi time. The rookie sixth round pick is competing for the backup job at center behind Steve Avila. Thus, a return to practice sooner than later would be beneficial for his chances.
