While it's hard to discount the body of work Karty put in through the first half of the season, his slump may force head coach Sean McVay to seriously consider bringing in competition for the role of Rams' kicker with the team's playoff hopes on life support. Had the Patriots scored and earned the victory, Karty may have gotten much more flak for his miss. On the season, Karty is 16-for-20 on field-goal attempts and 19-for-21 on extra-point attempts, and will look to boost his percentages against the Eagles in Week 12.

The rookie kicker contributed all of the Rams' points on Sunday, booting two lengthy kicks of 55 and 53 yards to go along with three shorter field goals. Karty did miss a 57-yard field-goal attempt in the third quarter, due in part to a false start by Beaux Limmer on the first attempt. It was still a solid performance for the rookie kicker, who will look to keep his string of good performances up against the Patriots in Week 11.
