We’ll get to the Week 5 rankings in a minute, but let’s first look at the best streaming defensive options for Week 5:
New York Giants (vs. 49ers) — The Giants are an odd bunch — best rush defense in the league, worst pass defense. But that’s a good combo vs. the Niners. Shut down RB Carlos Hyde and let QB Colin Kaepernick beat you. If they can make that happen, the G-Men are scoring a ton of fantasy points in Week 5.
Atlanta Falcons (vs. Redskins) — Kirk Cousins has been solid, but he’s due for a stinker. The Falcons give up a bunch of yards, but they clamp down when they have to. And that should pay off vs. the Redskins team void of many serious weapons.
Jacksonville Jaguars (at Buccaneers) — Two words: Jameis Winston. Through 4 games, the rookie has thrown 7 interceptions, fumbled a few times and has taken 9 sacks. The Jags don’t exactly strike fear into opposing offenses, but they won’t have to against the Bucs.
Each week I’ll be posting fantasy football rankings for quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, tight ends and defenses/special teams. Bookmark our fantasy football rankings 2015 page to keep up-to-date on the latest projections and rankings so you know you who to start and who to sit.
