UFC superstar Conor McGregor was called out by YouTuber Jake Paul on Saturday night after a vicious knockout in a boxing ring. Paul, 23, dominated and stopped ex-NBA star Nate Robinson, 36, in just two rounds of a boxing match on the undercard of the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. pay-per-view card on Triller. After the fight, Paul called out McGregor, as well as one of the Irishman’s training partners, Bellator fighter Dillon Danis.
“There’s a long list of opponents I want. You know Conor McGregor, Dillon Danis, I’m going to knock them both out,” Paul told Jim Gray during his post-fight interview.
Paul also mentioned facing fellow YouTuber KSI in a future boxing bout.
“I’m going to be in this sport for a long time, so that’s what I want to do,” Paul said. “I love it.”

Paul is 2-0 as a professional boxer with 2 KOs.
McGregor, 32, from Ireland, is 0-1, though his lone loss as a professional boxer was to undefeated boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr. (50-0) via 10th-round stoppage back in August 2017.

Not First Time Paul Called Out McGregor
This isn’t the first time Paul has called out McGregor.
The 23-year-old American just recently revealed he wanted to fight both McGregor and Jorge Masvidal.
“I’m ready for that jump right now,” Paul said via Low Kick MMA. “Ay, it sounds crazy but look, I’m sparring high, high-level professional boxers in Las Vegas. Undefeated guys, guys who are golden gloves amateur champions, guys with 25 pro fights, guys who are Caleb Plant’s sparring partners, guys who are Canelo’s sparring partners. I’m fighting guys with WBA, WBC championships belts, and I’m head to head with them.”
Paul’s older brother Logan Paul, 25, who is also a famous YouTuber and novice professional boxer, has recently started to do a similar thing in calling for a fight against retired boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr.
The Paul brothers appear to be calling out the likes of McGregor, Masvidal, and Mayweather as a way to promote themselves.
Moreover, the two celebrities probably believe that they can make massive amounts of money for those types of fights even if they don’t have much of a chance of actually winning them.
McGregor Returns to UFC Action Next Year
McGregor is already slated to face Dustin “The Diamond” Poirier in a rematch on January 23 in the main event of UFC 257.
On top of that, McGregor is aiming to face boxing champ Manny Pacquiao in a superfight crossover boxing match sometime during 2021, too.
But McGregor has repeatedly said he wants to stay busy beyond those two important fights next year.
Whether the most famous MMA fighter in the world would consider fighting Paul inside a boxing ring remains to be seen.
McGregor hasn’t yet responded to any of Paul’s call outs, but the Irish superstar could unload on Paul at a moment’s notice.
It’s not likely to happen, but neither was Tyson vs. Jones.
