The Moto X+1 is expected to make its debut next month at a Motorola event. TechRadar reports that the event will be held September 4. Rather than competing with all the other smartphone manufacturers who will be presenting at the IFA in Berlin that week, the Motorola event will be held in Chicago. 2. Moto X+1 Is Expected to Debut Alongside Moto G2 & Moto 360
The Motorola event is expected to showcase a number of Moto products. In addition to the Moto X+1, theMoto G2 and the Moto 360 smartwatch are also expected to get some stage time. A Bluetooth headset might also make an appearance.
3. The Moto X+1 Launch Window Is Highly Competitive

BGR notes that Motorola is picking a highly competitive window to announce their new device. Samsung will be unveiling their Galaxy Note 4 that same week, and Apple will be debuting the iPhone 6 about a week later. Either the Moto X+1 has some seriously impressive specs and features that make the X+1 a major player, or Motorola is in for a big disappointment.

According to a separate report from BGR, the Moto X+1 is rumored to have some amazing specs:

Tech fans who tune in to Motorola’s event on September 4 may not have long to wait to get the phone in their hands.
