Smoothie Diet: How to Start the Weight Loss Plan

Green smoothies, filled with fruits, vegetables, and protein, will not only fill you up (for weight loss), but will also keep you energized with healthy vitamins, nutrients, and minerals. Use fresh, organic fruits and vegetables and you will enjoy better skin, hair, and sleep.

Watch the above video for expert tips on recommended smoothie ingredients like walnuts, hemp seeds, bananas, brazil nuts, almond milk, rice milk, goji berries, pomegranates, blueberries, and pineapple.

Smoothie Diet Plan: How to Do It

1. Start each day with a green smoothie or other protein-filled smoothie for breakfast.

Ideally, this smoothie will have fruits, vegetables, and protein. The protein can come from Greek yogurt, protein powder, nuts, or milk.

2. Eat a healthy and balanced lunch and dinner. If faster weight loss is your goal, replace one of those meals with a blended broth-based soup. This cabbage soup recipe is a good start, but add in some healthy protein for added nutrition and staying power.

3. Drink two cups of water before each meal. Find out why here.
