WATCH: Video Shows Shootout Between Police & Terrorists Outside Bataclan

Terrifying video taken by photographer Patrick Zachmann shows police engaging in a gun fight with the terrorists outside the Bataclan theater in Paris Friday night (watch it above).

“I knew something was strange,” Zachmann told Time. “I immediately thought of a terrorist attack. I heard the shootings from a Kalashnikov. In the videos, you can actually see the sparks. It was panic. You felt that it was not under control, that they didn’t know what was going on, from where exactly (where the terrorists were) shooting.”

The video starts with explosions coming from near the concert hall, where attackers killed at least 89 people and wounded several others. The historic concert hall was sold out for a concert by the American band the Eagles of Death Metal. The terrorists stormed the theater at about 10:40 p.m., using guns and grenades against the crowd. Some of the attackers then detonated suicide vests.

You can watch parts of the video without narration below:

At least 129 people were killed around Paris, with attacks also taking place at the national soccer stadium and outside popular restaurants. ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attacks,
