Emma Slater was spotted holding hands with her season 32 “Dancing With the Stars” partner, Mauricio Umansky.
In a photo supplied by TMZ, the dance partners were seen leaving a dinner together without any ABC cameras in sight — and they were, indeed, holding hands as they left the restaurant. The outlet reports that the two appeared “awfully couple-y” as they made their way to the car.
Slater and Umansky have been dancing together since the start of the season and seem to have formed a really great friendship. However, Umansky is separated from his wife, “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kyle Richards, and Slater filed for divorce from DWTS pro Sasha Farber in April 2023.
Heavy has reached out to a reps for both Umansky and Slater for comment.

As many fans have pointed out, many DWTS pros form close friendships with their partners each season, and this hand-holding may be nothing to write home about.
“I don’t think this means much. Emma always has great chemistry with all of per partners. She truly just radiates joy and compassion,” one person commented on a Reddit thread about TMZ’s report.
“If they are seeing each other, I don’t see it becoming serious considering Mauricio’s separation with Kyle and that he has two kids. Emma is only 7 years older than his eldest daughter (but I guess that hasn’t stopped other men before). And I guess it would be different if he had small kids that she would have to care for,” someone else added.
“Omg,” a third comment read, the Redditor adding the side eyes emoji.
Meanwhile, fans have been keeping a close eye on another ballroom duo who have been getting rather cozy. Rumors that Harry Jowsey and Rylee Arnold are dating have been plentiful — and the two seem more than happy to play into it, especially if it keeps them in the competition longer.
“Everyone thinking it’s rylee and harry with the showmance when it’s really these two,” a fourth Redditor commented.
Mauricio Umansky & Kyle Richards Are Separated
In July 2023, People magazine reported that Umansky and Richards had separated after two decades of marriage. The couple was quick to put out statements denying they were getting a divorce. They did, however, confirm that they’ve been having a tough year.
Though Richards was in the ballroom to support Umansky on night one of “Dancing With the Stars,” he has confirmed they aren’t back together.
“Kyle and I are human beings, we have emotions, we have feelings. We’re going through a really hard time, okay? We are currently separated. We are not talking about divorce, and we’re trying to deal with this stuff internally, privately,” he told TMZ.
In the time since, some fans seem to think that Umansky was dating real estate agent Leslie Bega. However, a rep for the “Buying Beverly Hills” star told Heavy that the two are just friends.
As mentioned earlier in this article, Slater is also single and hasn’t really been romantically linked to anyone since Farber.
