Now it’s an epidemic.
Famed actor Burt Reynolds has been hospitalized in intensive care in Florida, suffering a severe case of the flu that apparently gave him the Cannonball Runs.
The 76-year-old Smokey and the Bandit actor is “severely dehydrated,” according to representative Erik Kritzer, who told E!News that Reynolds is “doing better. They are taking care of him and his mustache.”
Reynolds was hospitalized for flu symptoms and then transferred to the ICU to treat his dehydration.
He’s a resident of Hobe Sound in southeast Florida.
