Baltimore mom Toya Graham is being called the “mother of the year” after catching her masked son trying to riot over the death of Freddie Gray. The mother was caught on video slapping her son and dragging him home. Watch the video above. Read more about Gray’s death here.
Graham said in an interview with CBS News:
I turn around my son is actually coming across the street with this hoodie on and a mask. At that point I just lost it. He gave me eye contact. And at that point, you know, not even thinking about cameras or anything like that. … That’s my only son and at the end of the day I don’t want him to be a Freddie Gray.
I was angry, I was shocked. You never want to see your child out there doing that.
Baltimore City Police Commissioner Anthony Batts said he saw the interaction and talked about it at a press conference.
