Republican GOP Presidential Polls & Probabilities: Who’s Really Ahead?

Rick Santorum, 0 %

Santorum has been in the undercard debate several times, the fourth debate being no exception, and can't seem to make the jump to the main one. This former Pennsylvania senator is at 0.7 percent in polls , a 0 percent on the prediction market, and has a $1.3 million campaign total. But Santorum, who finished a close second to Mitt Romney in the 2012 Michigan primary, is still remaining optimistic in the 2016 nomination race despite his numbers. "I’d rather make my campaign about me and what I’m going to do and how I differentiate myself from other people. As opposed to going out and attacking people as being incompetent or whatever the case may be. And so that worked four years ago. And eventually the race came around to us...All you can do is run your race...One of the things I learned four years ago is campaigns have a hard time strategically turning the tide of a race. You have to sort of commit yourself to a game plan and realize you have to be patient to let itself work out,” Santorum said in an interview with the Daily Caller last month.
