Republican GOP Presidential Polls & Probabilities: Who’s Really Ahead?

Chris Christie, 5 %

Christie, often said to be overshadowed by other candidates such as Trump, was bumped from the main debate and moved to the undercard debate with Huckabee, Santorum and Jindal. Christie, who frequently takes to Twitter to interact with supporters and share his views, expressed he was just happy to be debating, regardless of where, in a tweet that read, "It doesn’t matter the stage, give me a podium and I’ll be there to talk about real issues like this: http://christiene.ws/1Nvu40o #BringItOn" Christie, who is still battling the Bridgegate scandal, spoke in an interview with CNBC in August about what kind of candidate he wants to be, "How would I see myself in this race? As being the most specific, most substantive guy. I put out more specific proposals, greater detail than anybody else on this race by far...Some people are feeling the pressure to try to be outrageous to get on the news. If you think you've got the best product, you've got to be patient. Slow, steady progress. So I'm not going to get into the hyperbole." Christie beat Trump in the race to raise funds for the third quarter with $4.2 million and sits in the prediction market at 5 percent. But now Christie is even losing support in his own state of New Jersey. According to a recent Quinnipiac University survey, Christie has 8 percent support in the state, trailing behind Trump (31%), Carson (16%), and Rubio (15%). (Getty)
