Police have charged 10 people with murder in the killing of Bell, who was stabbed to death during the March 18 street fight that involved baseball bats, pipes, knives and other weapons, CBS News reports.
The fight was part of an ongoing dispute involving students of Glenn Hills High School, WJBF-TV reports.
Police said they have charged the following people with murder: Terry Lee Daniels, 19; Eddie Doneal Carter III, 18; Quiauana Henley, 35; Quiasha Henly, 18; A’Lexis Cain, 18; Eyvette Lashaun Byrd, 39; Myah Tyanna Dunbar, 18; Tyteanna Larosie Thomas, 18; Raheem Jobes, 19, and Demetrius Harris Jr., 21.
According to the Augusta Chronicle, all of the participants in the brawl will be charged with murder, and more arrests are possible.
“This is the epitome of a senseless murder,” Richmond County Sheriff Richard Roundtree told the newspaper.
The fight involved between 30 to 50 people and occurred at the home of Evyvette Byrd, 39, who told police a group showed up at her house to fight her 15-year-old daughter.
