For the past month, Donald Trump has led in most of Florida’s early polls. Several polls were taken within the last week and indicate that Trump has maintained his lead on Marco Rubio in Florida.
The Rubio campaign has been focused on winning his home state and his poor showing in early primaries have made the March 15 primary a must-win. Early polling is not an exact science and primary results can differ from the polls.
Florida represents a key prize for the Republican candidates as it begins the next stage of the primary process where the delegates go to the winner regardless of their margin of victory.
